5K-9 Run/Walk

Race Location: Starts and ends at the Miami County Fairgrounds, 650 N. Co Rd. 25A, Troy, Ohio Pre-Registration & Entry Fee: Online registration: www.cantstoprunningco.com Pre-registration postmarked by May 1, 2017. Payment to “Miami East FFA” and send forms to: Miami East High School, 3925 N State Route 589, Casstown, OH 45312 $10 Pre-registered – without shirt $20 Pre-registered with shirt $15 Day of race – without shirt $25 Day of Race with shirt Awards: Top 3 male and female in each age group and Top male and female overall Age Groups: 10 & under 11-14 15-19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60 and older Race Timing: Can’t Stop Running. Chips are not disposable. Runners not returning their chip will be billed $10. Course: A flat 3.1 run/walk through the Miami County Fairgrounds. There will be water stations for humans and dogs along the route. All dogs must be on a leash the entire time. Doggie bags will be available but please clean-up after your pets. Post Race Events: Join us immediately following the race for awards, refreshments, and a doggie health fair. What's better than enjoying a glass of wine and a painting class with friends? An outline of the bust of a cat for you paint as you wish. Location: American Legion Post 184 301 W Water St, Piqua, OH 45356 Painting instructor and supplies provided by Ostrich and Frog, Covington, OH    Tickets must be purchased in advance. $40 per person. Please, use our PayPal tab on our Donate page and signify your donation is for a Purrs and Palettes ticket and we will place your name on the invitation list at the door. Bethany Center Cat Food Drive (Human food welcome too)

Join us to help Bethany Center 339 South St (Old South St School) provide donated cat food to the loving low income pet owners. You can also bring a turkey, canned food and/or boxed food for the humans too. Purrs in Piqua volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about Trap/Neuter/Return of homeless street cats and how we can help with low cost spay/neuter. You can even just do a drive by donation and our volunteers will carry in your donations.

Fundraiser for Cat Advocates of Troy and Purrs in PiquaPet Valu 1212 E Ash St, Piqua, OH is offering to donate the $10 charge for a dog wash to our charities. Volunteers from both groups will be there to give your dog a spa treatment bath. Pamper your pooch to help us continue to spay/neuter the street cats of Piqua and Troy! Also, tell us about locations of street cats that may need spay/neuter.
